Why Cloud 8 Data Training

Trained by People Who Bill $300/hr to Do This Work

DataCamp teaches from textbooks. Springboard hires contractors as mentors. Pathrise coaches your job search but doesn't teach the skills. Cloud 8 Data does all three — with the same people actively billing Fortune 500 companies to solve these exact problems today.

Common Questions

Are these salary ranges accurate for 2026?

Yes. These are compiled from Bureau of Labor Statistics data, LinkedIn Salary Insights, Glassdoor, and direct placement data from our own alumni in the DMV, NYC, Chicago, and remote roles.

Do I need a Computer Science degree?

No. Many of our alumni come from non-technical backgrounds — teachers, project managers, finance professionals. What matters is practical skill, a strong portfolio, and the ability to demonstrate real-world problem solving.

How long until I can get a job?

Most of our Career Accelerator Cohort graduates land their first cloud data role within 3–6 months of completing the program. Our 1:1 coaching includes a job guarantee — if you don't land a role in 6 months, we keep coaching you for free.

What's the ISA option?

Income Share Agreement. Pay nothing upfront. Once you land a role paying $50K+, you pay 8–12% of your first-year salary (capped at $12K) over 12 months. If you don't find a job in 6 months post-graduation, you pay nothing.
